Drug Exception Requests

Note: ASES is responsible for establishing and reviewing the Formulary of Covered Drugs. For these purposes, ASES has established a Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee that evaluates physical and mental health drugs. It is composed by health professionals, including primary care physicians, psychiatrists and licensed pharmacists. This Committee meets regularly to evaluate the different therapeutic classes, and to issue their formulary recommendations to ASES, based on scientific evidence, clinical aspects, and cost-efficiency analysis.
